Dorado News: “Can’t fix noise violations? Here’s the solution.”
16 MAY 2019

Normally, noise is assumed to occur near an endpoint, so conventional ECO is implemented on the net connecting to the endpoint. Nevertheless, sometimes the noise still remains after ECO since it actually happens on the driver side (source) and propagates to the endpoint. To fix this kind of noise violations, Tweaker traces back to the source and performs ECO on the source node instead to effectively minimize noise violations.
